Today was a slow day at the Café (rhymes all around), so I decided to make it exciting by dumping half a cup of 150 degree soup all over my arm, thus turning my wrist bright red and causing me much stinging pain. YIPPEE YIPPEE YIPPEEEEEE!!!! Boy do I know how to make a day fun! =D

(maybe I'll take a picture of it when all my flesh starts to fall off)

Lets see...what to talk about. Well today while we were washing dishes, Bethany got a tablespoon of dishwater and was about to say "Incoming enemy invasion!" and dump it into my sink, but I leaned down and drank it before she could. I showed HER!

(Who knew nuclear missiles taste like Dawn dish detergent? How strange.)

But other than that, and mom spilling the mop bucket on the carpet, and me learning a Decemberists song on the guitar, and wearing Bethany's jewelry, and eating the giantest messiest double-bacon-cheeseburger of all time, and approaching the stressed out meter at Lunch hour, and drinking a sci-fi green kiwi Italian Soda, and having to wear my wedding pants to work because I accidentally washed the wrong pair, and being told I sound like Kurt Cobain, it hasn't been a very eventful day.

These chat logs are ridiculous. Charlie and I both logged into his account and were pretending to be a bunch of people. If your name is Cory, Elyse, Colin (aka Fractured), Amelia, Jeremy, becca, Brian,Charlie, Snake, Peter, Jacob, Sh*m, Kevin, John, Andrew, Michelle, Hugh, Pete, Bethany, Manservant, Hanna, Lori, or Dylan, you're mentioned in these logs somewhere. Probably a lot too, since there's a good chance you're one of the people we were pretending to be.

Also, if you actually read it all, you're....amazing. O_O

Thus far, I've had an old original DC Talk song, a very heavy Norma Jean song, and an old black gospel song, running through my head all morning.

It's pretty weird. o_0

Soooooo, today Bethany and I got in the van at work and I started to back up and saw something in the back seat. I was like, "WHAT IS THAT!??" and I stopped the van and jumped back to look. It was.....this:

Pachow!!

I was SO EXCITED!! I still have no idea where it came from. I'm thinking Ben and/or Kristen put it there, but that hasn't yet been confirmed. Anyway I got home and anxiously took it all out and set it up. It's so cool!! And huge!! Aww, the adventures I have with my magical van. ^_^

Wow......Heath Ledger died..

...perhaps being the Joker went to his head. Either that or playing a g*y guy in Brokeback. I'd want to die too. Pretty sad though, eh. =\

I just bought this lovely album today. h00ray! I also bought 3 terrible kung fu movies for 65 cents. I haven't watched them yet, but I'm SURE they're terrific. ^_^

And I don't have to work tomorrow. Sundays are now my Saturdays and Mondays are now my Sundays. Except for church stuffs. Does that kind of make me a 7th day adventist now? Hmmm...

Saturday, January 19, 2008

ummm...these might make you bleed. But at least you can see Bethany's new haircut! h00ray!

Last night Bethany and I were taking videos with her phone, which takes like 100x80 videos (that's TINY).....and I ended up dumping an entire bottle of water on my head in the living room while wearing my work clothes. For a cell phone video that you can hardly even see. >_>

It might've been a bit overkill. >_<

Anyway, here it is. =P

(like the only funny part was that Bethany had absolutely no idea I was going to do that so it was rather surprising, lol)

Bethany and I always name the hams when they come in. The other day we named the current ham Lung. And today lots of people were eating Lung. YAY!!

The apocalypse draws nearer every day...and Bethany's ready for it...

Bethany told me to buy her a present as I was walking out the door today, so before I came home tonight, I bought her a machete. I had to be 18 or over to purchase it, lol. And then I took it home and wrapped it up in Winnie The Pooh wrapping paper and gave it to her. She was rather ecstatic. She's going to use it against zombies because for some reason they scare her. o_0

Anyway...I found it humorous. I kind of want one for myself too though. Outdoor sections are so awesome, man. Flasks, flashlights, belt clippy things, big knives, whistles, glow sticks...I loves it!

This should NOT be funny since it's a youtube home video, but it really really is. XD

Here is Decaying Lawn's first "Music Video"! Brad Norris Will Be Laid To Waste. If you don't know who Brad Norris is, he was a temp singer for Norma Jean after Josh Scogin left the band. Aaaaand he was pretty much the worst ever. You can see for yourself...It's pretty hilarious. I think the funniest part is that the entire crowd is crowd surfing. It's like surfers surfing on surfers! (oh and Charlie and I have decided that he's David Norris' cousin.)

I decided that this year (2008) I'm going to celebrate New Years on November 15th at 4:00pm. Then when the "true" New Years Day comes along, I'll probably go to a party but I won't celebrate, I'll just like sit there while everybody else goes loony. If anybody would like to have a party with me in November, let me know. =P

EDIT: Waiting for Wall●E.
And hoping Hancock will be cool.
