Download TUMIKI Fighters. It's a small game and it's completely awesome! It's like Katamari and sidescroller-shooter all in one!

Also download Torus Trooper. Don't mind the silly name, this game is also awesome. I'm currently on level 21 of the normal setting and it's getting INSANE!!

Also feel free to check out the other games on that site if you want. Those two are just the coolest ones I've seen but they aren't the only good ones.

Nation States update: Kaitie somehow jumped to 1st place in our region and Rosanne somehow jumped to 2nd! What the heck!? I remain in 3rd and both of Hugh's nations got knocked down to 4th and 5th.

AHHHHH! My basket weavers just went on strike!!

The Issue

Workers across the nation have gone out on indefinite strike over what they claim are substandard wages in the Basket Weaving industry.
The Debate

1. "We are the backbone of this country, and we demand a fair wage rise!" says union leader Anne-Marie King. "I don't think a 20% increase over two years is too much to ask. Unless the government forces employers to give us our due, we'll shut this whole industry down! Let's see how well Lord Maypole's economy manages without any Basket Weaving, huh?

2. "We pay our employees very generous wages," says employer representative Peggy Hamilton. "Especially when you consider that without us, they'd be OUT ON THE STREET. Hear that, you scumbags? OUT ON THE STREET! Anyway, my point is, if you cave in, you make our entire industry uncompetitive. You can't do that in the global marketplace. It'll hurt the whole country. The best solution, economically speaking, would be to relax industrial laws and allow us to fire troublemakers on the spot."

I got to the boss of the 3rd level today. That's the farthest I've ever been.

It can't be better than N, the game. Or Nethack.

Sir Brian The Manly said...

It comes pretty close to N. Nothing comes close to Nethack.

I've completed the "10" column on N, got the pink suit, played a bit more and then burned out. I'll probably get back into it eventually when I'm all refreshed, but it's just so freaking hard! =P

hahahah, I found this on some random nation states page:

"Record sales of 'child-whacking sticks' have been recorded, the army's shirt ninjas are the most feared assassins in the region, citizens live in superstitious fear of the mysterious glowing clouds that float over Bloodsong Island, and the country has been 'going shopping' by annexing nearby nations for their resources. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Bloodsong Island's national animal is the Minotaur, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Tor."
