Thrice's "Like Moths to Flame" and Chevelle's "Forfeit" song both have parts with the same guitar, same notes, same timing, and just a slightly different rhythm. ...just uhh...because I know you were wondering. ^_^

In other news, I'm a half-failure at wiring because I don't actually know what I'm doing. =(

And in still other news, I have the greatest girlfriend EVER.

And in even more news, I don't want to work tomorrow. I wonder if we will..I bet we will. We'll probably have to mow ms. acre lady. ^_^

Okay well lets see...Prom was better than any dance I've been to probably because I was actually good friends with my date this time, heh. Aww zAny. I won't give you a million boring details, but I'll give you some highlights I suppose.

Rosanne picked me up, we went to her house, got suited up, went to Pia's where everybody else was, and then we all headed for Ten Mercer, a semi-fancy restaraunt in Seattle.
Some things that happended there: Kaarin had forgotten her camera, and thought it was in the car, so her and Rosanne and I walked back to the car to find it. While we were there, Rosanne spotted a nice young man about half a block away at a motel standing there staring at us. ...actually it was a dude with a really creepy mask on, and her and Kaarin started getting all creeped out over it and I was like, "it's just a guy with a creepy mask" but they were being all silly and scared, lol. Then I looked over and saw that he wasn't staring at us anymore, but he was walking to a nearby room holding a knife up in the air in a stabbing stance, lol. I was like "oh look, now he's got a knife!" and that's kind of when we headed back to the restaraunt because the girls were like "!!!" heheh. It was weird. We didn't find the camera though. Then at the restaraunt uhhh...lets see, I made a paper airplane out of my name-card thing that told me where to sit, and my Boutonniere began to die since I'd been stabbing it with a needle earlier, so I put one of the flower pedals in my water and set a french-fry on it saying it was his raft.

And ummmm...not much else happened there I guess. Then we went to the Rose Garden near the zoo, and we saw a peacock. We took pictures there, nothing too exciting.

Then we went to the Aquarium where the dance was held, and it was kind of lame actually. It was cool to see all the fishes though. And we saw a giant octopus and a tiny octopus, both of which we pretty sweet. Dance music still sucks, heheh. Then we went back to Pia's and did some Xbox Karoake. I sang to Bohemian Rhapsody. Do you know how hard it is to hit some of those notes!? lol

That was abooouuuut it for stuff you might care about, I think. Excellent weekend though. I don't have pictures, but I'll try to get some from Rosanne or something.
Edit: Oh, but here's one from her LJ.

Pencil Marks: Hosed what was there, and now here's day #1.

Tux Time™!

*scampers off*

I've discovered a cool new look for me. I like it. I think I'll go to the prom like this.

Oh yeah, definately looks good.

In other news, I just bought a SWEET new book. Star Trek: The Next Generation, and X-men. Two teams of heroes...One astounding adventure! Oh yeah. I just looked at the cover in Wal-Mart portraying Riker, Xavier, Data, Storm, Wolverine, and Worf, and I knew I had to buy it. Only $6.00! XD lol, okay so it was probably a waste of money but DUDE! At least I can show it off! ^_^

Concerning X-men 3. Warning: Spoilers.

I liked it. It was good. It wasn't great though. I didn't think they did enough with some of the characters, and some of the things they did do with the characters were stupid. Some examples. They introduces Angel, and showed that he could fly and stuff, and then they used him to catch his dad and fly away and....that was it. That was like the only heroic thing he did. Then there was Beast who did like 2 flippy spinny moves and that was about it. How lame! And then Magneto? He was trying to destroy that labratory place and kill the mutant inside, so he was going to have all the mutant "pawns" attack it so he dropped an entire bridge in front of it for them to run across and attack. My brother pointed out: If he was trying to destroy the place, why didn't he just drop the whole bridge on it and crush it? o_O And it was lame when he was throwing flaming cars...and missing? What the heck? Why didn't he just whirl them around like he did with the iron balls that he took from the dude's blood in X2? Why did he throw them and miss people? Lame! And why did he need to sacrifice all those mutants in the fight if he had Phoenix right next to him able to do pratically anything? Lame! Soooo, I did like it but it had lots of lame things. Also eewwww, human mystique lacking in clothes, and too much smoochy-woochy. Bleh.

I really liked it when Magneto crushed the oncoming cars and swiped them aside and stuff with a motion of his hand. That was sweet. XD

I woke up at roughly 7:27:27 and had an idea pop into my head out of nowhere:

Mac should join forces with Nintendo and create the all new iWii! O_O ..and then in a few years they could make the iWii 2!

Sometimes I amaze myself.

Mowing lawns, making moneys, eating, sleeping, playing, and that's about it.

Dude, I just watched the Supreme Commander trailer. Holy Hoppin' Happiness, that game looks sweet! Yep yep yep.

X3 comes out this Friday and after all this waiting I'm finally going to get to watch it. ...and with a certain person no less. What a spectastic way to spend a weekend. ^_^

My video game skills almost appear as though they're...decreasing. I shudder to even think of it. Am I getting old?

Edit: Actually come to think of it...I did completely own Jacob this evening at Call of Duty: United Offensive which is a rare thing to do becaues he's way too freaking good at that game, so maybe I've still got it after all.

Edit 2: If I made a drinking video game, I'd make one of the sets of levels a "Champaign Campaign".

Our laptop's internet connection got hosed (meaning the phone cord got pulled accidently and ripped the modem wires out, heheh) soooo I shan't be around much seeing as how I can only get online when I'm at work.

Last night I dreamed I went to Toy Story 3 at the theater and it was terrible, but my friend and I found like $30 under our seats so it was worth going.

Saturday, May 13, 2006

I was running around and doing stuff all night and then I played 2 and a half straight hours of dodgeball. Never been so sore in my life! But I learned how to do a two-step wall run so I'm kind of happy. ^_^ (and plus I looooove dodgeball!)

In a letter from my brother..

"So did you hear the PS3 news???

They're coming out November 17th.
The "cheap" edition is... $499!!! And the deluxe is $599!!!!!
Yowza!!! I may not get one for a year or more after they come out,
cause that's just nuts!

A Revolution, on the other hand, could be quite appealing... WII!!!
(Especially if it's in the $200 range, which I don't know for sure.)

The PS3 controller have no rumble, but they do have tilt sensors... I
wonder where they got that idea? And they look almost *exactly* like
the PS2 controllers. No boomerangs this generation."

That's one expensive cheap console. =þ
It'd better be good if it's going to be that much. I however might have to go Wii. (lol, I don't think I'm ever going to get over that name) Partly for games, partly for uniqueness. But we'll see, eh? Maybe I won't have the money for anything and I'll have to just play my oldskool gamecube, heheh.

...And now I'm off to check out all the amazing E3 news. Toodles!

Mainly for Hugh: Supreme Commander Preview

Monday, May 01, 2006

I just rented and watched a DVD of a live performance by Chevelle. Man those guys are good! Everything they did sounded just like it does on their albums. 'Cause like some people just suck live, or they take shortcuts and things, but these guys didn't and they sounded really good. And I wish I could scream like the lead singer. Beauty voice, eh.

The heck? Revolution = Wii? What's Wii? How do you even pronounce Wii? I like the codename better, they should've done the names the other way around. And is that the logo? An "i"? How...creative. Bleh. But the lame name won't stop me from wanting to get one I don't think.

Edit: Explination. Really lame one at that. Whee. I mean Wii.

Hahahaha, I just realized if I get a cell phone and people put my number in theirs they could put me in as Brain Cell! Oh man that's fantastic.

It's a good thing I'm Spider-man because mowing lawns for 8 hours can be tough on the physical self.

Mowed a couple lawns today. Both easy jobs that together brought in about $40. Now of course I personally don't get the $40 because we have to pay for all the stuff first like equipment maintenance, gasoline, taxes, junk like that, and then Jacob and I split the wages, but we've got quite a lot of jobs coming in and at 18-20 dollars a lawn we'll be pretty rich with enough jobs. I believe we're both going to be making more than we would working at a fast food place and we get to manage our own time too, so if we want the weekend off or whatever we don't have to ask a boss, we just do it. Beauty.
