Email them, get the app, fill it out, and see what happens. You can always say no if you don't want to. There won't be as many keytar applicants as there would be for a guitar or bass or drum job or something.

it's really too good of an opportunity to pass up, and honestly i think you'd love being in a band. and you know, it's not permanent you can always turn around and come right back.

That was... not serious, by the way. In fact I think it's a good point: you might be all like "waaah I'll be all WEIRD and wive away fwom HOME and STUFF" but as of right now you're pretty weird, basically live in your own house filled with obscure music equipment (and a wall of jeans), and play in our pathetic "band" which sort of has Showbread as an influence. My point being... it's not like you're that much better off right now. I understand it's still a really big jump that I'd be a bit hesitant to frolic after, but I definitely recommend at least emailing them and filling out the application and stuff.
