Three unrelated things:

First, I watched The Prestige last night and it's pretty greatastic. You should watch it. Right now.

Second, I hate washing things. Counters, cars, dishes, floors, windows, doesn't matter, it's all terrible. I'm not a good washer. I was washing some things for mom today and I thought, "Surely it has been an hour now!" and I looked at that clock...it had been 15 minutes. O_O

Third, the other day I was watching some Marilyn Manson movies on youtube, just because I was curious. Creepy? Extremely. We're talking serious jibbly jibblies here. But at the same time, it was also kind of interesting...as I watched his concerts and interviews, I found out something about him: He seriously hates Jesus. Now you might think "well DUH!" but what I mean is, most people reject Jesus by denying him or believing something else, but Mr. Manson is different. It seems as though he actually acknowledges the truth about who Jesus is and what he said, and yet STILL makes a conscious decision to turn against him. It's as if he believes Jesus existed and was God's son, but he hates what He said, and he hates that He's the only way to heaven. So he rejects Him and curses Him. I watched as Manson stood behind a giant pulpit at his concert, almost like a dictator, and all the people were screaming out stuff, and Manson did his screamy song all about hating Christ, and then started like ripping pages out of a Bible and stuff...It was creepy, but interesting too. Honestly, it made me kind of sad when I thought of all the joy I've gotten out of a life with Christ and then looked at the way his life is and watched as he hurled insults at the Lord. I think he knows what he's doing and he has an idea of what's in store for him, but he doesn't care. He hates Jesus.

EDIT: Another interesting thing I noticed was that he never mentions a word about Buddha or Allah or any other "gods". It was only Jesus that he was hating on. That's one of the things that makes me believe he's acknowledged the truth and rejected it. That's also one of the marvelous things about Christ: He's real and that realness shows up in people's lives, whether they love it or hate it. I don't see such an affect with false gods.

So on the way here tonight, I was just driving along, lalala, probably singing really loudly to myself seeing how high I could get my vocals without breaking or sounding girly, when I suddenly saw some red and blue flashy lights flick on behind me. So naturally I pulled over, but so did the red/blue lights. "Sweet jumping junipers!" I'd never been pulled over before and although I had an idea of what I'd need (Drivers license, registration, proof of insurance...something like that?) I'd never had to get those out before, so I had no idea what they looked like or anything. I wasn't panicky though, since I couldn't think of anything I might've done wrong...but anyway, I rolled down my window and waited a bit. Then I looked in my mirror and noticed that there were some headlights behind me...and then the flashy blues and reds! There was a car sandwiched between me and coppey! So I waited a second longer, saw copper-man get out and walk to the other car's window and thought "*whew!* It wasn't me!" Then I cautiously turned my van back on and got out of there, heheh. So although I have still never been "pulled over" I do know what it feels like. =)

EDIT: I also found my Jones Soda candy tonight! Totally forgot about it and it wasn't even empty yet. I'd better start eating it again.
Don't you just hate it when you think of a song you heard recently and you remember the awesome melody, but you can't remember the name, the singer(s), the lyrics, or anything else about it?

Why doesn't google have a melody search!?

Don't you just love it when you finally find it? It was Rise Against - "The Good Left Undone". I heard it for the first time either yesterday or the day before so I could only remember it well enough to play it on the piano and not know what it was, heheh.

Thursday, March 15, 2007

Hmmm...I have quite a ways to go before I become truly awesome. Ah well. But I'm really going to have to buy Painter IX now, it's fantastic!

Wednesday, March 14, 2007

[EDIT] SWEET! I'm reliving the days of my old Ford Taurus! My van key has worn out enough that I can start the van up and take the key out while it's still running. Then I can just twist the ignition to turn it off, no key necessary. My van just gets better all the time...now I just need to bolt down a couch inside, wire up a TV and an XBox and I'll be set. =D [/EDIT]

I need a new creepy face picture for my background! Somebody volunteer!

!!!!!

I just found out that a trial of Painter IX came with my stylus tablet! That's the program I've wanted to get and now I've tried it out and...it...is...AWESOME!!! I only had about half an hour to play with it because I have to leave for class now, but it's INCREDIBLE! STUPENDOUS! RADICOOL! RAWKIN'! SWEET! BEAUTY! I'm going to try and buy it with a student discount for about $100. ^_^

Anyway, in my half-hour of doodling, I drew this poorly painted tanfa, heheh. I'll have to learn how to use the program. I've never painted before and I really don't know what any of the brushes do.

*Waits for Cory/Jesse to complain about Daylight Savings Time on their blogs...*

We went all the way to Lacey today with one of the brand new UHauls, the biggest kind they make, and about 2.5 hours and $10,000.00 later, we had the whole UHaul packed full from front to back. We took the entire Not-So-Easily-Portable Blimpie's restaurant back to the store here in ML, unloaded, and now we have a computer store full of restaurant junk, lol. *whew* That was a lot of work and I'm pretty worn out, but I have $100 in my pocket, I got a couple free meals out of the deal, hopefully this Summer I will now have a place to work, and I'm happy. ^_^

And tomorrow it's MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000 TIME!! It's going to be The Final Sacrifice, followed by GODZILLAAAA!!! Excellent. =D

Friday, March 09, 2007

I have to be up at 6:00am tomorrow because we leave, yet again, for Lacey. We're going to go get the restaurant and bring it home. I'm going to die. I'm already so tired, I don't know how I'll get up early in the morning to move a ton of heavy stuff. =_=

Muse is fantastic. They're so great live, it's ridiculous. ...And don't be afraid of the second song, it's one of their scarier ones. =)

Here are some shots of the Penny Arcadenites getting hosed. I only care about my brother and his victim...I mean Amber..*cough*..since I don't even know anybody else and none of them are nearly as cool as he is anyway. =)

Look at the evil expression on his face. He's so menacing!

She was probably like, "Ha! You got nothing."

And he was probably all like, "Death's comin' for ya!"

And she was probably like, "*yawn* whatever."

And then he made the serve that destroyed her, but we can't show the results because they're too graphic for this blog.

He apparently let her live though, since she managed to make a comment here last time I talked about this. How did she get here anyway? Am I really so popular that webcomic celebrities read about my life? errr...I mean of COURSE I'm that popular!
(I wonder if I can get her autograph...)

Anyway, if you're interested, all the pictures are here.

Well, apparently Captain America is really REALLY dead this time. Mr. Marvel President actually said so. So now what? I wonder if he'll come back to life...or maybe there will be 4 Cappy Posers! ...hmmm...now why does that idea sound so familiar? Oh well.

Thanks anyway, Captain America, for all your hard work at keeping our country safe from Nazis and Supervillains!

(by the way, you're kind of ugly in this picture)

I was floating in a peaceful sea, 'rescued' by a sinking ship.

I've come to really like mewithoutYou. The singer doesn't sing, he just talks and shouts, but it's strangely intriguing and sounds really cool. Also their lyrics are poetic, and although I'm not into poetry, I still find them interesting. Plus I like them because they wrote a song called 'O Porcupine' so there you go. =D

Furthermore, their a bunch of loons in concert and their lead singer dances like a hippie (and looks like one too). It cracks me up. XD

My life's a cup of sugar I borrowed before time began and forgot to return.
All of these ablums are on my Amazon wishlist. Good grief, man, how am I going to get them all? I need more money to spend on myself. =P

(oh by the way, I think I found Jesse's wishlist.)

So I have to brag about this one. Penny-Arcade sent out a Ping-Pong challenge to any video game companies that would accept. Sucker Punch did, the P-cade mans came, and they got completely destroyed. My brother placed about 6th among the 7 selected Sucker Punchers and he owned his female Penny-Arcade opponent. Pretty hilarious. =D

Anyway, here's the bit they wrote about the event.

http://www.penny-arcade.com/

"Well we had our ping pong match with Sucker Punch last Friday and I must say things did not go well for us. The Sucker Punch “Rockets” lived up to their studio's name and left us with a big old purple shiner. Already there is talk here in the office that our glorious victory march through the game industry is now looking more like a trail of tears.

We showed up around 6pm for our match and we got a great tour of their facilities. When it came time to play our team was introduced to the couple dozen spectators on hand. Then it was time to introduce the Sucker Punch players and that’s when things got a little crazy. As the lights dimmed music began to swell from some unseen source. Flashlights blazed on and swept back and forth across the room. Then, amplified by a megaphone the “rockets” were called out one by one. Each one paused briefly in the doorway to gesture at the cheering fans before taking his place on the far side of table. I can understand why you might think I’m joking. I promise you I’m not. Let’s just say the intimidation factor was high.

The games started out pretty rough and really didn’t get much better as we moved through the ranks. Our man Mike played a guy who used the “inverted claw” grip. We thought this was a joke until we saw him lift his paddle, completely avoiding its handle and instead gripping it the way a basket ball player might palm a ball. My own match was against an ambidextrous giant of a man who played the entire match while tossing his racket back and forth between his massive paws. Our man Robert was the only one to even win a round. With the games tied at two each it came down to a nail biting final round in which Robert was eventually bested.

We may not have won but the evening was still a success. We had a great time with the Sucker Punch people and everyone here at PA wants to thank them for their hospitality. Kiko is working on getting some photos of the event uploaded and I’ll let you know when that happens. Our next match is in two weeks against Microsoft Casual Games. They might read this and think its okay to relax. They might even begin to feel a tingle of confidence. Let me tell you now, that would be unwise. We may have been beaten but all that means is that now we are angry. Microsoft employees are encouraged to slaughter a lamb and mark their doorways because in two weeks, Penny Arcade is coming.

-Gabe out "

Oh yeah, we're awesome.
-----------------------

lol, this is such a stupid song. I took a bit of everything suggested.

-Here Is The Song, Eh-
EDIT: (fixed download link)

Nervous Clone:

Nobody knows
What it's like to be
A nervous clone....a clone
A carbon copy
Of somebody else's
skin and bones....bones

Mostly I'm alone
But some of my best friends
Are gnomes....the gnomes
They don't reject me
But offer me a place to live
Which I call home....my home

And you cannot
Understand
What it's like being an outcast
In elementary school
They called me Doppleganger boy
At family reunions too
They took some super-glue
And stuck my 27 gold doubloons
The gnomes gave those to me
It makes me want to scream

One day
While talking to my squid
He told a story about
A secret
That he'd learned while in the ocean
About some alien lemon people

And you cannot
Understand
What it's like being an outcast
And you cannot
Understand
What it's like being an outcast

He predicted
That the aliens would come....come
And attack our world
Leaving no survivors

I say good
Let them come
Let them bring their lemon guns

'Cause you cannot
Understand
What it's like being an outcast
'Cause you cannot
Understand
What it's like being an outcast

It's time for some out of context quoting from recent chat logs!!

Charlie: I have a mysterious bone that like pops out of my jaw or something
me: want to borrow my pocket knife?
Charlie: yes and no

Charlie: that can't be good

Charlie: hi dad
me: wow, you're such a romancer
me: now send that to all the girls you know

Gerry: I'm a ninja.

me: that's like hugh
Gerry: YES.
Gerry: That's gross.

Charlie: ok well if you'll excuse me I have to write a song involving bethany and a flying hippo

Gerry: Yes...Sad
Gerry: Hey, here's some cheese for you.
Gerry: And I mean that in the best possible way.

And now, this last one is so bizarre that I'm not even going to quote it out of context. I'm just going to post it exactly as it is:
Charlie: agh no
me: gwah
Charlie: is it the one?
me: it just might be!
Charlie: aww

Some guy in the computer lab just walked up and handed me a turtle brand skull cap like I use for snowboarding to go under my helmet. He said he found it on the floor. I just bought one of these on my last snowboarding trip and it was like $30. O_O

That was REALLY weird but I'm definitely not complaining. =)

EDIT: Hmmm....it appears my background is missing. Mayhap I shall find a new website to steal bandwidth from. ^_^
EDIT 02: Oh heck, I'll just use Cory. XD

I sliced the pineapple. Look how huge it is, it's almost as big as my veiny upside-down head! (which is kind of like Pineapple Upside-Down Cake) It's so turbo. I haven't eaten a pineapple in a long time and woo. Beauty.

Sweet Jumpin' Jamba Juice, my mom just brought home the biggest pineapple I've ever seen! O_O

I have almost finished recording some weird guitar music, but I don't have any words. Therefore...Give me some song ideas and whichever one I like the most, I will use for my weird guitar music.

EDIT: It's not a heavy song (I mean it's acoustic for goodness sake.) but would be nice if I could have something in the topic to kind of yell about. ^_^ Also: It's kind of depressing minor music, so a sad or spooky or angry topic would be best. Maybe semi-Zombie Sheepish or something. Except not quite. But yes, minor key.

If all goes well, I'll be taking more Spanish, Watercolors, and something else this Spring quarter. (en la primavera.)

Concerning the test...
Don't read this if you plan on taking it, you cheater! =)

Most everybody said I didn't get hit in the face with a knee board, but the truth is, I've never sliced my hand open while jumping a fence. In fact, I still have a scar on my lip from the knee board incident. I was pulled off by a boat, and when I turned my head around, the board came flying at me and smacked me right below the lip. Ow. I bleeded.

Many people said I don't have a manservant, but I do indeed have one and he too was featured on the Miller Brother's Christmas album. I don't have an airsoft gun.

I have never been to Twisp, but I HAVE been to Mount Rushmore.

I really don't like Slipknot. Bleh.

I wrote a song for Mel back in the quizzing days about getting a CD stuck in a drive, because that happened to her. And in fact, she discovered that there were not one, but TWO CDs stuck in the drive! Wow.

I have never read Essential Wolverine #1, but I'd like to. And no, Kaitie, as much as you want everybody in the world to, I've never read Pride & Prejudice. ;)

And the last one that most everybody got wrong was the food. I haven't eaten Doritos and pink frosting. I ate Oreos and ranch dressing.
...it wasn't a bad guess though, because Greg and I WOULD'VE eaten Doritos and pink frosting if there had been pink frosting at the party. But there wasn't. =\

Too many people get divorced. I hate divorce. I know there are rare occasions when it is perhaps...necessary? But most of the time it's selfish, heartless, and cowardly, and it ruins everybody involved.

Charlie and I wrote a metal song. It's pretty much the greatest song ever. It has an essence of Norma Jean about it. I'll probably make an album cover later.

Artist: Decaying Lawn
Album: Fury of the Traitors
Song: Slaughterhouse Splattered Without Remnants of A Dying Myth
=======================================================
they all go around in a circle, each person writing one word
days flash by and there's no sky to see
darkness ensues, her eyes like fire
what are you looking for?
crawling, bleeding, finding nothing
and yet with such elegance, slashing out the depths
the wolves prey tonight, they prey tonight
oh what a way to die, oh such an end
they all go around in a circle, each person writing one word
false alarm, go back to your hole
it's over tonight, for now
attractive, attention-grabbing, remarkable
and yet I cannot see it
learn what he's really thinking and what he wants - no more confusion‼
My master taught me a new character‼ It's alt+3+5+5+9+9+5+5‼ Now I don't have to type ! twice, because that's too hard‼ I'm just going to use this handy keyboard shortcut for all of my exclamatory needs‼

Cory might like this. ^_^

Mom wanted me to draw the clock outside our store to use it as a logo for something she's going to do. It's not incredible, but I wasn't displeased with how it turned out:

Thursday, February 15, 2007

Freakiness aside, this drawing es muy chévare! Whoever did it probably has enough talent to fill the Grand Canyon*. I mean, jeeze, look at the detail on that thing! O_O

And remember, kids...YOU GET A BIG DELIGHT IN EVERY BIT OF HOSTESS CUPCAKES!

I left my Cory Valentine picture at home because I was thinking Valentine's Day was on the 15th. T_T

Oh well, you can have these instead.
Valentine's Day? GROSS!!

I Wuv You.

So....need a valentine?

Also, give this to a loved one.

I found a picture like this on a Jones Soda bottle. I tried it. It worked. It's cool.

Holy Useless Talents! This is awesome!

There's a lady nearby who is in a movie making class. Poor lady has to use Windows Movie Maker. That's like being in a digital art class and having to use MSPaint. Anyway, she doesn't know about file types, she didn't know how to find the Movie Maker program, she doesn't know how to maneuver through folders and drives...She probably shouldn't be in a computer class yet. =p

I got my hard drive back today. Hopefully it's all fixed now. Beauty. Time to re-download Supreme Commander (since it FAILED last time) and hopefully install and run it.

Monday, February 12, 2007

Bleh. I've been a tad sickish for a couple weeks but now I'm starting to feel it. =P

Yesterday, it had rained all the night before. I went to church and the WHOLE parking lot was full of cars so I decided to park in the gravel. Little did I know, it was a gravel swamp. I drove on in, and close to the back my van stopped moving. Oops. It was like quickgravel out there, heh.
But then my mom came and pulled me out with her BARE HANDS. It was almost too easy.

(actually Jacob's dad used his suburban. but mom could've done it just as well.)

Hoo baby, I needa get me a pair of these!!

I'm uhhhh...I'm being sarcastic, by the way. ;)
There's no way around it. If something says "Sugar Free" I WILL taste the sugarlessness. I've heard it said to me before, "ahh, you can't even tell." I can tell. It's gross, dude. =P

Thursday, February 08, 2007

I have a nack for getting myself in trouble. Anyway, the other day Hugh gave me some worship music chords/lyrics and I was playing them. Stuff from our old youth group. Some of that stuff is actually pretty sweet. Like not just "gee, sounds the same as all the other worship music" but it actually sounds good. Beauty.

...I kind of miss youth group. =P

Tuesday, February 06, 2007

Well, I setup an Acer laptop with Windows Vista Home Basic. Not all that exciting, really. But then, operating systems rarely are, heh. It kind of looked like a Mac operating system with a Windows layout.

Maybe I'll get it with a new computer in 5 years. =P

Sunday, February 04, 2007

My SuperBowl Sunday was spent sleeping, eating, and soon I shall write an essay. I'm such a wild party animal.
I bought some NEW ten dollar shoes. Now I'm waterproof again.

Friday, February 02, 2007

I really need a band and a recording studio. Maybe I'll just learn how to get things out through drawing.

...but then I don't get to scream into a microphone...

Cory, may I come live at your house? =\

Thursday, February 01, 2007

Dude, for a free OS, Ubuntu's pretty sweet. You can just put the CD in and it starts right up. Then you can install it later if you want. But that way if you just want to see if a computer works with an OS and everything, you can just run a live CD instead of having to spend forever installing something.

I've really gotta change my layout. It's pretty awkward when I try to check for comments at school and people are walking by as I look at these blue, purple, and pink polka dots. =)

EDIT: Dude, I was just attempting to hack into the computer admin account so that I'd have access to everything, and one of the computerlab interns walked by and he was like, "Why are you starting in safemode? Are you trying to bypass their security?" and I was like, "yep." and he said, "Hmm, I didn't think you could do that on these." And then he started helping me and suggesting things I could do to hack in, lol. It was kind of funny.

I didn't get in though. They've changed the default name so I don't know what it is. Any suggestions? =)

I think my face is coming off. Should I be worried? O_O

Madre dulce, what a splendid weekend! Wii = Turbo, but Darren currently only has one controller and one game. Heroscape = Turbo and we played it a lot. C++ = Turbo if you know what you're doing. Remote control airplanes = Turbo if they stay out of the water. OH yeah and I bought Songs To Burn Your Bridges By (Project 86) for like $8.00 and Crash Rickshaw (has the P86 bassist/guitarist in it) for only like $0.70! STBYBB is awesome and CR is awesome for 70 cents.

Tomorrow I see my brutha from my hulkin' mutha and we're going to program and game and game and game and Wiiiii!!!! I can't even wait. Not even a little bit.

Is it just me or is this a terrible font? Maybe it's just because I'm reading it on a mac? Hmmm...Perhaps I'll change it.
Yesterday, they were doing a skit in Spanish (as always) and one of the boys had to play a girl...Well he had a baseball cap on and he didn't want to take it off, so he just put the wig on over it and one of the guys nearby me said something like,
"He probably has hair hat."

Oh my goodness, I almost couldn't stop laughing. I was the only one who caught it though. It's sad to see such a splendid joke go to waste.

==================

I love concept art. I want to draw stuff like that. ..although it doesn't have to be robots, just that type of art. Beauty. I was thinking maybe I should design/do-artwork-for table top games. Card games, board games...like the nerdy Risk 2210A.D./Warhammer/Arkham Horror kind, not like Balderdash or anything.

Who does this guy think he is, M.C. Escher? Heh, no but he's definitely got some crazy skills and a wild imagination.

THIS IS WHAT!!

What's a guy supposed to when he loses his girlfriend? I don't know. But I was sad. And I don't know how it worked, but this made me feel better. =)
Anyway, I'm not sure what's funnier...the fact that I randomly shaved my head at midnight so that I'd feel better...or the fact that I kept my sideburns. XD But I'm pretty sure my sideburns are my source of power, like Samson's long hair. If they go away I'm nothing. =(

GUESS WHAT!!!

For dude's sakes! I saw my nephew four days ago and he was barely crawling. I didn't see him hardly at all since then, and now I see him, 4 days later, and he's crawling like a madman! It's incredible! I'd better not take any week long vacations or I'll come home and he'll be walking and talking! =O
Last Christmas I got a 1GB flash drive. $100. Today I just bought another 1GB flash drive. $15. Dude.

Now I'll still have one if mine breaks though. And I really don't need anything bigger than a gig because it can handle most any large install file(s), and also a bazillion pictures, songs, whatever. I'm fine with a gig.

Edit: I'm not actually expecting you to listen to this if you don't want to, I'm just seeing if I can embed it...although Thrice is pretty crazy sweet.

Woo, success.

I modeled my blog layout after them because of these comments on Cory's post.

Isn't it just err..lovely. =)
soooo tired...5am one night playing games, 3am the next night writing an essay at work & coming home, and then 1am the next night editing a photo. Gwaaaahhhhh. I'm so glad Big Bend doesn't do Friday classes. That's like wonderful and a half. Too bad I have to get up to work. =)

Mom mentioned possibly going across the state tomorrow to look at some restaurant stuff but it's not really in the vicinity of Darren and Faith. He got his Wii finally, and I really want to play Heroscape with him, and I also could use a crash course in C++ outside of class.

I doubt you care about anything said thus far. I will now right something you WILL care about!

You're awesome.

There, surely that interested you. ^_^
Oh but here's something not for the squeamish, heh. This guy is one of our internet customers. He holds the world record for benching 900 pounds. ..although I think he can do over a thousand now. Insane. When he does it, he puts so much pressure/strain on his head that like blood comes out his eyes and stuff. I'm not gonna lie, dude, that's incredibly turbo disgusting. =[
He's so ripped though. Observe for yourself if you have the stomach for it. =)

My teacher was telling a story in Spanish today about ugly Dennis Rodman going to a girl's (Amber's) house and offering her flowers. She ended up shutting the door in his face and he went away crying. Then I raised my hand, the teacher "¿sí?"ed me, and with my immature amateur speaking I said something like, "Dennis no abrió la puerta y no comió Amber?" and the teacher said, "Nooo!! Dennis no abrió la puerta y no comió Amber!!"

It was funny.

By the way, why can't English have words like anaranjada? It's fanstatic!

By the way, Jacob and I read in a tabloid that the mark of the beast isn't going to be 666 like we see it..but in BINARY!! So we shouldn't be looking for 666, we should be looking for 1010011010 or something, lol. Silly tabloids.

And now that I've given you that highly important information, I shall return to writing my essay. It's about The Destructors, which oddly enough I found somewhat intriguing. Could it be that I actually liked an assigned story in English? Weird!
The other night, I had my keys in my hand and was leaving my bedroom, and I reached up to flip the light switch. ...now the light switch in my room has no cover on it, so when I put my hand up and flipped the switch, one of my keys was inserted into the opening around it and there was a "CRACK" sound and I looked and saw a spark fly down to the floor below. I was like "DO_ODE!!"

Anyway, I didn't think much of it other than "wow, I'm glad my sleeve didn't catch on fire or something" but then tonight as I went to lock the store's front door, my key didn't fit. I looked at it. It was melted. Dude.

...in other news, this took place somewhere in Portland. Ridiculous.
I woke up today when class was starting. Oops.

Yesterday, my friends and I were up all night playing board games. We played a 9.5 hour game of Axis & Allies, and then directly after that we played a 5.5 hour game of Risk 2210 A.D.

Needless to say, we were all very tired of strategy board games by the end. =)

Edit:
Check out my amazing program! Coooooool.
#include <stdio.h>
#include <conio.h>

szKey = getche();

while (szKey != '\r' )
{

iRobot++;
szKey = getche();
}

szWhatever[iRobot] = '\0';
printf("\n\n=========\nThe characters you entered make up the following string:\n%s", szWhatever);

scanf("\n\n\n\nPress enter to end program.%d", iRobot++);

Once upon a time, in the great white land of Canada, there was a little girl who lived with her mother, who was an old lady, who was played by a guy, who was dressed up as an old lady, who liked to watch Tom & Jerry cartoons. This little girl's name was Little Red Riding Hoser (not to be confused with Little Red Writing Foo. That's a different story entirely).

One day, Little Red Riding Hoser's mother said to her, "Little Red Riding Hoser, I would like you to take this basket to your grandmother, eh. She lives in a cottage down the road that like winds through the Snowy Forest. The basket is full of beer and donuts, so take care not to let anything happen to it, eh. It's beauty."

Little Red Riding Hoser agreed, and she exited the house and went skipping down the road towards grandmother's house. Deep inside the Snowy Forest, she found some snow (fancy that!) and decided to stop and build a snowskimo. About the time when she was putting his hood on, she heard a voice behind her!
"Hello, little girl," Little Red Riding Hoser turned to see a polar bear standing nearby (surely there are polar bears in Canada!), "What are you doing, eh?" it asked her.
"I'm building like a snowskimo, eh. Then I'm going to take some beer and donuts to my grandma." She answered hesitantly.
"Beauty. So like where does your grandma live, eh?"
"Jeeze, she just lives down the road here, eh."
"Beauty. Well have fun, eh. Watch out for like wolves and stuff."
"k."
The polar bear left and Little Red Riding Hoser finished the snowskimo. Then she picked up the basket, and trotted off down the road. A ways along, she ran into a mountie!
"Oof!" She fell over.
"What ho, citizen?" The mountie said.
"I'm on my way to my grandma's house, eh. I'm taking her a basket of donuts and beer."
"I love donuts and beer! Mind if I drop by later?"
"Sure, eh. She just lives down this road in a cottage."
"Beauty. Carry on then." Mountie said, and off she went to grandma's house.

At last she reached the cottage. She knocked on the door 3 times and from inside she heard a deep voice say, "Come in, you knob! I mean come in, my dear.."
Little Red Riding Hoser slowly creaked open the door and stepped in, "Grandma?" The room was dark inside and she could faintly make out a pale figure lying in the bed. "Grandma, you sound funny."
"Just a cold, eh. What are you doing here?"
"Like I brought you some uhhh...like donuts and beer and stuff."
"Beauty, eh! Bring 'em over here!"
Little Red Riding Hoser walked over and set the basket on the bed. Then she looked wide-eyed into the face of her grandma. It was most unusual.
"Jeeze Granny, like you've got some big ears, eh!"
"Take off, eh! That's so I can like hear and stuff."
"But granny, you've also got some big eyes!"
"Yeah that's so I can see, eh."
"And a big nose!"
"YOU'VE got a big nose!"
"You've got big teeth too, eh!"
"That's so I can eat DONUTS, BEER, AND LITTLE GIRLS!!"
And with that, the polar bear aka "granny" jumped out of bed, pounced on Little Red Riding Hoser, and gobbled her up! Suddenly the door opened and mountie walked in!
"Woah, a polar bear!" He exclaimed. The polar bear growled and Mountie whipped out his hatchet. With one mighty swoop the bear was hosed!

And with that, Mountie ate the donuts, drank the beer, and lived happily ever after.

This is a story Chargar wrote about a table.

'

He's not giving out any autographs, so don't ask.

Now go read the post before this. I don't want my joke to get lonely.
I couldn't accomplish my assignment in the computer lab today. I just couldn't make the dern thing work. I did get my computer to beep chaotically and have the nearby lady look at me and say, "what is that??". It was weird. Glad I didn't blow the place up.

I'm going to make up a joke! Ummmm...let me think...okay I've got it.

Jim needed his house painted while he was away on vacation over the weekend, but nobody was available to do it. The weekend was approaching quickly and Jim was desperate, so he went and asked his friend Tubs the bartender. Tubs said he'd get his buddies together and the house would be all painted by the time Jim got home. Jim, quite relieved, bought some cans of paint, left them at home, packed up his things, and went on vacation. Sunday arrived and Jim pulled into his driveway to see the men finishing up. He exited the car, went up to Tubs and said, "Tubs...what's up with my house?". The house was wet, sticky, and brown. Tubs took a drink of some green colored liquid and suddenly Jim realized what had happened. The men had gotten drunk and painted his home with beer while they drank his paint! "Tubs! What's with the beer!?" He exclaimed. Tubs took another swig of paint and said, "Oh don't worry about the beer, Jim. It's on the house!"

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I drew this for my brother. So there.

Friday, January 12, 2007

Dad: Well, I'd better get ready to do some Unix work tomorrow.
Mom: You're going to do WHAT!?
Mom and I: HAHAHAHAHA!!
If you don't get it right away, forget about it. It's not worth trying. ;)

My sisters and I watched Brother's Grimm last night. Great jibblies, that movie is messed up! O_O

If you're a cartoonist and you think of a brilliant joke while driving or something, you can just grab a pen and write it down for later use. However, if you're a musician and you think of a brilliant melody while driving or something, you're hosed. ...unless you keep singing it continually until you can record it somewhere.

Speaking of musicians...

EDIT:
I tripped over...I mean I stumbled upon this. Click on it, you.

We must remember that art is art! ..but then again water is water! And east is east and west is west, and if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce it tastes much more like prunes than rhubarb does!

Darren sent me a couple cool things...

First of all, they're making a movie based on my Zombie Sheep song. Looks interesting. =)
Black Sheep

Also, this commercial ownses.
I'm sitting here working on C++ in the computer lab and nearby there's a girl named Jessica working on Visual Basic with a couple guys. She's kind of ditzy and she keeps asking them for help and they're only too happy to help her. It's kind of funny to listen to. It's like she's flirting with them and they love it, but she probably already has 5 other boyfriends.

Here's a story our teacher told and had us act out in Spanish class. It's very uhhh...romantic.

También (also) J-Lo sonrió.

I wasn't going to watch Lady In The Water since Screenit gave it a 2/10, but Bethany rented it and thus it was at our house so I figured, "oh heck."

oh. my. fedex pen. (I just got a green fedex pen today. It writes in green ink.) That show was EXTREMELY bizarre, somewhat confusing, not very well made, and somewhat lacking in the "good acting" department. It was like M. Night tried to make movie with an interesting original idea, and interesting original characters, and an interesting original cinematography style, and ended up doing a really poor job at it all, lol. Trust me, it's not worth watching (unless you're really bored and find it lying around your house.)

Go watch Sixth Sense instead. It's times greater. Neu deut aboot oot, eh.

....oh and did I mention the nymph lady was really creepy? She was really creepy.

Pineapple cottage cheese is weird.

Give him a dose of super soldier serum and I think the young version of Clint Eastwood could make a good looking Captain America. He has a comic book face and when I saw him with an army helmet on, I thought "Holy Steve Rogers!"

Unfortunately he's old now and there's no super soldier serum.

This is really creepy, but I like how the editing job turned out. (although he wears his hair a bit crooked) XD

Cory's new style
I just got this "Hug 'em Tight On Cuddle Up Day" as the subject of a spam email. O_O

I made a Hello World program in C++ today. It wasn't very exciting. It wasn't the first program I made either. Does that mean I'm not a true programmer? :(

Since my brother DEMANDED that I tell the unbelievable event that occured earlier today...here it is.

A man came into the store today and asked Nick for me specifically. Nick came into the back and told me the dude had requested my presence, so I went out to the counter. I had never seen the man before. He was probably in his 30's, he had semi-spiked hair (kind of tangly), and a slight goatee.

I said hi and he reached out his hand to me. I reached my own to shake it, and as I extended my arm, he quickly whipped his other hand around and placed in my palm an envelope. I was a bit confused but I opened it without saying anything. Inside was a check written to me for $4,500.00!

My eyes bugged out and I looked up at the guy.
"Congratulations," He said, "You've just won fourty-five hundred dollars."
"Uhhhh?" I replied.
"You signed up for that contest at the Big Bend Community College, didn't you? The one to support the baseball team?"

I'd completely forgotten! "Yeah.." I answered, stunned.
"Well, you won!"
"Oh. Wow...err..Thank you!"
"Heheh, no problem, you have a good day." And he walked out.

I stood there in disbelief. Slowly I turned and looked at mom who was sitting behind me and she was just staring. Finally she said, "So what was that all about?" So I explained to her about the contest I'd signed up for and showed her the check.

Anyway, I ended up sticking the check in my wallet and was going to leave the store early to put it in the bank, when suddenly the same man came back into the store at about 3:00. I was using the computer in the show-room, so he saw me and walked over.

"Ummm...do you still have that check?" He asked.
"Yes," I answered.
"I'm really sorry, but there has been a terrible mistake...we looked at the winning ticket again and realized it wasn't you. The winner was actually somebody named Brian Brides, so you can understand the mix up when we looked your names up on our server."
"...oh?"
"I'm really sorry. I'm not going to make you return the check since I already gave it to you--but really Mr. Brides was the actual winner."
"No no...it's okay."

Reluctantly I drew out my wallet and returned the check. He ripped it in half and walked out, apologizing yet again.

So I guess I was potentially rich for an afternoon...sort of. Fortunately I don't care tooooo much about money. It can be corrupting anyway.

See, I told you you wouldn't believe my story if I told you.
What if the Punisher was a Pirate? Coooool. He wouldn't even need to reload his muzzle-loader pistols, he'd just whip out a new one every shot.

His logo would no doubt be the one I now have in the top right corner, eh? Beauty.

Nothing unbelievably exciting happened today. Well, there was one thing, but you wouldn't believe it if I told you.

Tuesday, January 02, 2007

Today I went into class and sat down. A moment later, Trevor walked in and I was like "Sweet! I'm in a class with Trevor!". We talked a bit as we waited and finally the teacher walked in. I thought, "uhhh...my Spanish teacher is supposed to be a girl." so I turned to Trevor and asked, "What class are we in?" "Political Science" "uh oh.." So I left and found the class I MEANT to be in.

Anyway, I think Spanish will easily be my favorite class this quarter. I'm excited for it. As an example for how we would be learning, the teacher lady called me handsome and told a story about me going to my beautiful girl's house and kissing her and she gave me a hug and then we went dancing. Mwehee! Oh and she had Spanish 101 written on the board and I kept thinking it said Spanish Laugh Out Loud.

There was a red Spyder next to me at a stoplight. It was sweet, dude. Not quite at the level of my great looking van, but y'know.

Monday, January 01, 2007

I was getting spam each day that I'd have to go through and delete, filtering out the occasional keeper letter. Then I set up a filter and the spam has gone away. Now I just get nothing.

I'm lonely. :(

New years was as I predicted. I had fun. And today I played some stuff on an XBox 360 and it felt like...an XBox.

I really don't look forward to going to school tomorrow.

Sunday, December 31, 2006

A guy just drove by in a convertible with his music blaring really loud. ...bagpipe music that is. My only hope for him is that he was listening to Flatfoot 56.

I was SURE I would wake up early today like 8:00 or 9:00. I woke up at 11:00. Then I wondered if there was a third service today since it's New Years Eve, so I went to see and there wasn't. I would've been 45 minutes late anyway though. But Jacob's dad saw me on my way there, 45 minutes late to a service that doesn't exist. I'll probably hear about this later. =P

We're all going to the Meiner's for the New Year. I predict games, games, and more games. Maybe a movie too, who knows. School starts in two days. Fraculator.

Today I got a spam letter and the first name was Rosanne, spelled just like that. It was cruel, dude.

Saturday, December 30, 2006

Does this picture scare you? It scares me.

Doodle Mockers! I got a letter tonight that said all of my classes had been dropped because I hadn't paid my tuition on time! I remembered then that when I registered for classes, I didn't have the money yet. The next month I did but I'd forgotten about paying by that time. Soooo I thought I was hosed. However I managed to get back in two of the classes and Spanish has replaced Lifetime Wellness. My schedule's a little looney but at least I'm in.

So I've got C++ in the morning, Spanish in the afternoon, and English at night (but only Mon. & Wed.) *whew!* I forked over the moneys too. Nearly ten bloomin' C-notes! Oh well, Solomon says riches are meaningless anyway, lol.

Friday, December 29, 2006

Don't mind my jaw, I just thought I'd let it rest on the floor for a while.

Fantastic Four: Rise of The Silver Surfer
And yes, this does mean Galactus. O_O

Transformers
Teaser Trailer had me worried, but now I'm stoked. Stoked? I never say that.

Thursday, December 28, 2006

Darren and I gamed it to the limit yesterday until about 3:00 in the morning. It was intense. In the last battle we fought each other down to our last characters and then he won. F*res. =)

I'm making a GI Joe game now.

Also, since this is very meaningful to me, I'd like to tell you about some of Cory's religious views...
"I liek pie lololol jkjkjkjk tahts not relgisous!1"
That is all.

Saturday, December 23, 2006

So ummm...my brother is getting a free Wii with no fee for Christmas, see? Can you even comprehend how jealous I am!? I would probably kill him and take it if I were 100% heartless, evil, selfish, unloving, a murderer, and a thief. Good thing I'm not all that. And a bag of chips.

I'm not usually one for posting lyrics but these Thrice ones about Peter's denial are intense, and actually listening to the song is even more powerful. If you don't want to observe them then ummm...go to the window...and stick two pencils up your nose! And then you will be president! *suppressed laughter*

"Like Moths To Flame"

Once again these bitter herbs
The perfect compliment to all your cryptic words
I nod but don't know what to say, but I know you
And I believe you're who you say you are so I?

I will follow you, lay down my life
I would die for you, this very night

Once again the bread and wine
But it seems the meanings may be deeper still this time
And you surprised me when you said I'd fall away, don't you know me
I could never be ashamed of you, no I?

I will follow you, lay down my life
I would die for you, this very night

I've never been this cold, the fire's gravity compels
Like planets cling to sol, I feel my orbit start to fail
Like moths to flame I come, too close and all my oaths are burned
As stars begin to run, all my accusers take their turn
And calling curses down, from my lips lies like poison spill
And then that awful sound, the sound of prophesy fulfilled
And then I met your eyes, and I remember everything
And something in me dies, the night that I betrayed my king

Yeah, remember when I said I wanted a 5 foot scarf? I meant 10 feet, 5 on each side. It's gotta reach my shins on both sides. =P

Tuesday, December 19, 2006

HAHAHA! I found my old website on the store server. I was such a n00b! XD

(and oh man, those animations are uhhh...incredible.)

BRIAN'S AWESOME WEBSITE!!!

EDIT: A quote from a lady in the store just now, "Well, I've never heard of Acer. I'm more comfortable with HP and Dell."
I cringe. Just because they're big names doesn't mean they're all that. *rolleyes*
Right now in the store we have a glorious $500.00 512MB Radeon ATI video card. It takes up two slots and it's bloomin' heavy. Wowza.
I'm tired of the cold. I want it to be Summer again.

...except I kind of want to make myself a 5 foot long scarf like Tom Baker (but not quite so big and ugly, HA!) I don't know what the material should look like though.

If I had the 10' scarf, I would probably wear it in the Summer too just because it'd be funny to have such a thing, so I guess I still want it to be warm again.

Monday, December 18, 2006

I had a nice day but it was quite a bit of work

I'm very pleased at how buying gifts turned out, but it was a lot of effort to get there

Heroes is cool but it has some bad stuff

Same with Lost

I have a lot of enjoyable things to do but I can't seem to get them all done

There's currently no school but there will be too soon

Darren and I will have tons of fun soon but we have too many games to play and too little time to play them

God is really working in my life but things are still hard

Cory is the pwn but he lives infinity miles away

My girlfriend is safe and still the best girl ever, but I can't be with her right now

I like the snow but it's too cold

So I guess it's safe to say that half of everything is awesome right now.

EDIT: "The Number 23" Jim Carrey is in a horror movie? That's messed up.

CHRISTMAS COLORS!! YAY!!

Boy, has it been wiiiiiindy! While driving around we saw a few toppled trees, some battered signs, and some downed fences. Supposedly it has hit over 50mph.

Blustery. I hope that favorite girl of mine gets home safely. =\

O_O

By the way, Cory has me hooked. 30 Seconds To Mars is der grrrreat!

I thought I was going to die but I might just live, things were looking grim but now they're looking up, and I'm going snowboarding for free tomorrow. Observe the following smile: =)

We are no longer The Computer Place. Our name is now officially City Center Computer. So when they answer the phone they have to say, "City Center Computer, formerly Computer Place, How may I help you?" heheh. It's a mouthful.

I like Radiohead, but they're crazy weird, eh. I remember on Halloween last year UGO had this "top ten creepiest songs" list thing and they said that they'd intentionally left Radiohead out of the list because that just wouldn't be fair, lol.

I dreamed that Cory started up a new message board and I registered as zAny (wha!? o_O ) but I'd spelled it wrong so it was like vSny or something. And by the time I registered there were already a ton of people on and a bazillion messages posted. =P

EDIT: If you had a clock or watch set for the exact current time and you wrapped it up, would that be wrapping the present? HA! Sorry, I had to get that out of my system.
